Official National Weather Service observations recorded a daily maximum of 68°F at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport on September 4, 2026, placing the high squarely in the 68-69°F bin and aligning with the market's near-certain consensus. This outcome reflects typical early-September conditions under a stable marine layer and light onshore flow, with the reading falling below the 1991-2020 climatological average high of 73°F. Post-event resolution leaves minimal uncertainty, though minor variations could arise from microsite differences across stations or rounding in preliminary data releases. No significant model revisions or observational disputes have emerged to shift the outcome.
