Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.Recent ensemble forecasts from major models show Istanbul's August 6 maximum temperature centered near 27–28°C under persistent high pressure and light northerly flow, with limited cloud cover and weak sea breezes keeping values close to seasonal norms of 28°C. Slight differences in moisture advection from the Sea of Marmara and minor timing shifts in daytime heating create the tight market spread between these two outcomes, while higher probabilities for 29°C or above remain low absent stronger southerly winds or clearer skies. Updated runs from the European Centre for Medium-Range Weather Forecasts and Global Forecast System, expected within the next 24–48 hours, will refine boundary-layer conditions and narrow resolution thresholds for this short-range temperature market.
