The crowded field of more than a dozen registered candidates for the Federal District’s two Senate seats has produced highly fragmented voter preferences, leaving no single contender with a commanding position in recent surveys. Prominent names including Michelle Bolsonaro and Bia Kicis of the PL, Leila do Vôlei of the PDT, and Erika Kokay of the PT compete alongside independents and smaller-party figures, with polls showing shifting or narrow leads amid substantial undecided shares. Recent PL convention decisions confirming Michelle’s candidacy and the close of registration deadlines have reinforced the right-wing split while highlighting competition from centrist and left-leaning alternatives. This dispersion sustains market equilibrium across outcomes, with separation likely to emerge from final campaign momentum, turnout patterns in key districts, or late endorsements before the October vote.
