Trader consensus around 70-73°F for Austin's lowest temperature on September 19 reflects model agreement on moderate overnight cooling under partly cloudy skies with light southerly flow. Regional high pressure and dew points near 65°F limit radiative heat loss, while typical mid-September climatology sets a baseline low near 70°F. Small differences between the 70-71°F and 72-73°F bins hinge on exact wind speeds above 5 mph and any late-day cloud cover that could raise minimums by 1-2°F. National Weather Service guidance and ensemble runs show low spread, keeping lower outcomes like 66-67°F at just 9% implied probability absent an unexpected frontal passage. Updated observations tonight will refine these narrow ranges before resolution.
