Recent National Weather Service and NOAA model consensus points to overnight lows in the mid-70s Fahrenheit for Dallas on September 21, sustained by southerly flow and warm, humid advection under high pressure. Limited radiational cooling overnight stems from elevated dew points and possible scattered thunderstorms that maintain cloud cover and prevent sharp drops. A modest northerly wind shift arrives later in the week, but steering patterns keep the warm air mass dominant through Monday night. Historical September averages near 68°F provide context, yet the current anomaly favors readings well above the 67°F threshold and below 86°F. Traders appear divided on whether convective activity or subtle model shifts could push the minimum lower or sustain elevated minima, creating closely matched probabilities across the extremes.
