Recent forecast guidance from multiple models points to a daily maximum around 22–24°C in Mexico City on September 20, driven by persistent cloud cover, light rain, and moderate northeasterly winds typical of the late rainy season. These conditions limit daytime heating at the city's 2,240-meter elevation, where September climatology shows average highs near 23–24°C. Market-implied odds favoring 26°C or higher appear to reflect expectations of partial clearing or model revisions before resolution, though current consensus keeps substantial uncertainty around the exact peak. Traders will monitor updated runs from agencies like Mexico’s SMN and global ensembles for shifts in cloud and precipitation trends.
