Current forecast models point to a high near 30°C in Taipei on September 21 under clear to partly cloudy skies and moderate northeast winds, yet market-implied odds favor 32°C or 33°C at roughly 57% combined probability. This positioning reflects trader expectations of modest daytime heating in the subtropical autumn transition, where historical September maxima often reach 31–32°C. Differentiating factors among the clustered 31–33°C outcomes include small variations in cloud cover, humidity suppressing or enhancing radiative heating, and wind mixing that can shift peaks by 1–2°C. Official updates from the Central Weather Administration and numerical model consensus will provide the clearest signals ahead of resolution.
