Recent ensemble forecasts from the Met Office, ECMWF, and GFS models show London under a mild Atlantic air mass on September 7, with westerly winds of 10–15 mph promoting mixing and limiting surface heating. Mostly cloudy skies are expected to reduce solar insolation compared to the clearer, warmer conditions on September 6, keeping daytime maxima centered near 22–23 °C. Minor model spread arises from differences in cloud thickness, exact frontal timing, and boundary-layer moisture, which traders weigh against historical September averages around 19–20 °C. Updated runs and any shifts in cloud cover or wind strength over the next 48 hours will be the key catalysts for market movement.
