Tomáš Portlík leads the SPOLU coalition (ODS and TOP 09) for Prague’s October 9, 2026, municipal elections as the candidate with the strongest recent positioning, backed by his record as Prague 9 mayor, assembly experience, and selection as ODS first vice-chair. The coalition fields numerous sitting district mayors and prioritizes housing construction, transport coordination, and school capacity. Fragmented opposition includes Petr Hlaváček (STAN), Tereza Nislerová (Pirates), Adam Scheinherr (Praha sobě coalition), Jan Hušbauer (ANO, after Ondřej Prokop’s June withdrawal), and others such as Jana Komrsková and Václav Láska. With roughly 40 days remaining, trader consensus reflects the advantages of Portlík’s established local base and coalition cohesion amid a crowded field where vote splitting could still influence final assembly outcomes and subsequent mayoral selection.
