Forecast models from the National Weather Service and GFS consensus point to an overnight low of 64–66°F in Central Park on September 6, driven by northeast winds of 5–10 mph and partial cloud cover that limits strong radiational cooling after daytime highs near 74–75°F. This aligns closely with the 1991–2020 climatological average low of 64.5°F for the date. Trader positioning heavily favors the 64–67°F bins as the latest model runs show minimal deviation from these values, with little chance of colder air advection or clear, calm conditions that could push readings into the low 60s or below. Updated NWS briefings tonight will refine the exact minimum before resolution.
