Official observations from the National Weather Service at Seattle-Tacoma International Airport recorded a daily maximum of 68°F on September 4, 2026, under overcast skies with light winds and trace precipitation that limited daytime heating. This value aligned precisely with pre-event model guidance and fell several degrees below the 1991–2020 climatological average high of 73°F for the date. Trader consensus quickly consolidated on the 68–69°F bin once preliminary climate summaries confirmed the reading, reflecting high confidence in the station data. Only an undetected sensor malfunction or a shift to an alternate official measurement site could realistically alter resolution, though historical precedents show such revisions are rare for this location.
