Futuro Nazionale has maintained a consistent lead over Lega in Italian voting intention surveys since mid-2026, with recent polls placing the party founded by Roberto Vannacci at 6.5–7.9% compared with Lega’s 4.4–5.9%. Vannacci split from Matteo Salvini’s party in February 2026 to launch Futuro Nazionale on a platform emphasizing stricter immigration controls, national sovereignty, and traditional values, drawing support primarily from the broader right-wing electorate. The party’s growth accelerated after its June constituent congress and continued through summer and early autumn surveys by YouTrend, SWG, and BiDiMedia, reflecting shifts in voter preferences within the centre-right ahead of the next general election due by December 2027. This sustained polling gap underpins traders’ assessment of the likelihood that Futuro Nazionale will finish ahead of Lega.
