Recent opinion polls ahead of Sweden’s September 13 parliamentary election show Sverigedemokraterna (SD) holding a steady lead over Moderaterna (M), typically 19–20% versus 16–18%. This gap has persisted since the 2022 vote, when SD first surpassed M to become the largest party in the right-wing Tidö bloc. August surveys, including Demoskop and Novus, confirm SD support near 20% while M remains lower, with the governing bloc trailing the opposition overall. Traders price the 82.5% probability for SD receiving more votes as reflecting this sustained polling pattern and limited movement in the final weeks before election day.
