AfD maintains a commanding lead in the September 6, 2026, Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag election, with recent Infratest dimap, INSA, and Pollytix surveys placing it at 42–43 percent—more than double its 2021 result—while the incumbent CDU trails at 22–23 percent. Sustained voter support for AfD on migration, internal security, and economic concerns, combined with the CDU’s ongoing decline under Minister President Sven Schulze, has solidified this position ahead of the vote. Other parties, including the Left, SPD, and Greens, register in single digits and show limited momentum despite minor recent gains. With the election just days away, trader consensus reflects the consistent polling gap; late swings in turnout or unexpected developments remain the primary factors that could still alter the outcome for largest-party status.
