Recent opinion polls show the AfD ahead at 35–36% and the SPD at 28–29%, with the Left around 11–12%, underscoring a polarized environment that typically mobilizes core supporters and undecided voters. This dynamic, combined with the state's history of above-average participation in 2021 (70.8%), supports trader consensus favoring higher turnout relative to the prior cycle. Scheduled campaign events and coalition speculation in the final weeks could further influence participation rates before voting closes.
