Persistent easterly flow and scattered afternoon thunderstorms, driven by an upper-level low and abundant Atlantic moisture, are positioning Miami's September 17 high near 86–88°F according to National Weather Service guidance and model consensus. These conditions promote diurnal convection that caps daytime peaks while sustaining high humidity and heat indices above 100°F. Historical September averages around 89°F provide context, yet the current steering pattern and cloud cover favor outcomes slightly below that baseline. With resolution hinging on official Miami observations, traders are weighting the 86–87°F and 88–89°F bins most heavily as latest model runs show minimal deviation from upper-80s guidance.
