This market will resolve to the temperature range that contains the highest temperature recorded by NOAA at the Buckley Space Force Base Station in degrees Fahrenheit on 5 Sep '26. The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=kbkf This market will resolve off of the Hourly Data provided using the "Show Hourly Data" button. If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source. In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket. To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to US Units w/ kts" button until the relevant table displays °F. This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first. The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Fahrenheit (eg, 21°F). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market. Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.**Forecast models and observations position Denver's September 5 high temperature near 92–93°F as the most likely outcome, aligning with the market's leading 46.5% implied probability for that bin and 28.5% for 90–91°F.** Official National Weather Service guidance and local forecasts (Denver7, Weather Atlas) consistently project a daytime peak of 91–93°F under partly cloudy skies, with afternoon temperatures climbing from morning lows near 64–65°F amid light northerly to variable winds of 5–10 mph and minimal precipitation chances (around 17–20%). This setup favors strong solar heating with limited cloud cover or moisture to suppress the maximum, following recent days that reached 92–93°F. The September climatological average high is approximately 83°F, so current conditions reflect above-normal warmth driven by persistent high pressure and dry air typical of early fall in the Front Range. Higher bins (94°F+) carry lower probabilities (around 12% combined) because ensemble guidance shows no strong warm advection or downslope wind enhancement to push extremes, while cooler outcomes remain unlikely absent unexpected cooling. Traders appear to weight the tight model consensus and stable pattern, with resolution depending on the official NWS station observation for the daily maximum. Afternoon forecast updates or real-time observations could refine the final reading within the narrow 90–93°F window.
