Recent polling from August 2026 shows Delegado André David (Republicanos) holding a narrow lead in the crowded Sergipe Senate race for the two seats, with support around 17% in stimulated scenarios, ahead of André Moura (União), Eduardo Amorim (Republicanos), and others clustered in the low-to-mid teens. Eleven candidates are registered, including incumbents and challengers from PT, PL, MDB, and PDT, reflecting limited consolidation of voter preferences and high indecision ahead of the October 4 vote. Trader consensus prices Delegado André David highest for first place while keeping the field competitive, consistent with historical patterns in Brazilian state Senate contests where name recognition and party alliances shift late. Upcoming campaign events and additional surveys could widen or close gaps among the top contenders.
