**Trader consensus has converged on 28°C as the day's highest temperature in Qingdao, reflecting real-time observational data and forecast alignment from multiple meteorological sources.** As of evening on September 13, 2026, hourly records and station reports show temperatures climbing to a peak near 28°C in the afternoon under overcast skies, light variable winds (typically under 10 km/h), and moderate humidity around 50-60%, before declining into the low 20s by sunset. This matches the climatological expectation for mid-September in coastal Qingdao, where diurnal ranges are modest (often 6-10°C) due to marine influence, with no significant frontal systems or clear-sky radiative heating to push values higher. Model consensus from sources such as local forecasts and international agencies supported a high in the 27-28°C range, with minimal spread. The 100% market-implied probability for exactly 28°C indicates traders view the official measurement (likely from the primary Qingdao station) as settled at this threshold, given the day's progression and absence of anomalies. Realistic challenges remain limited: a post-hoc data revision by the China Meteorological Administration, differences in micro-site readings, or an unexpected late spike if conditions shifted rapidly—though current observations and the late hour make these low-probability outcomes.

The resolution source for this market will be information from NOAA, specifically the highest reading under the "Temp" column for all times on this day, available here: https://www.weather.gov/wrh/timeseries?site=zsqd
If NOAA data for the observation date is unavailable by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, the Weather Underground Daily Observations table will be used as the resolution source.
In the event that there is no data for the observation date by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, this market will resolve to the lowest bracket.
To toggle between Fahrenheit and Celsius, click the "Switch to Metric Units" button until the relevant table displays °C.
This market will resolve once the first data point for the following date has been published on the resolution source, or by 11:59 PM ET on the day following the observation date, whichever comes first.
The resolution source for this market measures temperatures to whole degrees Celsius (eg, 9°C). Thus, this is the level of precision that will be used when resolving the market.
Revisions to temperatures recorded within this market's timeframe will be considered until the first datapoint for the following date has been published, after which any alterations will not be considered.
