Incumbent Republican French Hill seeks a seventh term in Arkansas’s 2nd District against Democrat Chris Jones, the 2022 gubernatorial nominee. The district’s Republican tilt—evident in Donald Trump’s 2024 margin and post-redistricting boundaries—underpins trader consensus favoring the GOP at 85.5 percent. Most independent forecasters rate the seat Solid or Likely Republican, citing Hill’s established fundraising, name recognition, and primary victory. A late-August Hendrix College poll of likely voters showed Jones ahead 48-44 percent, driven by independent support and 8 percent undecided, prompting Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee targeting and endorsements. Despite this signal of competitiveness, Polymarket pricing continues to emphasize structural advantages and historical midterm patterns over a single survey.

A candidate without a ballot-listed affiliation to either the Democrat or Republican parties will be considered a member of one of these parties based on the party with which they most recently expressed their intent to caucus at the time all of the House elections are conclusively called by this market's resolution sources.
