Chou Chun-mi, the Democratic Progressive Party incumbent seeking re-election as Pingtung County magistrate on November 28, 2026, holds an 86.5% implied probability as the market leader. Her strong positioning stems from prior electoral success in 2022 and the DPP's February 2026 nomination of sitting county executives for another term. Su Ching-chuan, the Kuomintang legislator nominated by the opposition party in December 2025, trails at 14.5%, reflecting limited recent polling momentum or coalition support in this southern county. Numerous lesser-known candidates register at market levels indicating negligible expected vote share. Trader consensus incorporates the structural advantages of incumbency, party resources, and historical voting patterns in Pingtung, with limited major developments since the spring nominations altering the competitive landscape ahead of the vote.
