**In Georgia's 10th congressional district, an open Republican-leaning seat previously held by Mike Collins, the November 3, 2026 general election pits Republican nominee Houston Gaines against Democrat Pamela DeLancy.** Both secured their nominations in the May primaries, with Gaines winning decisively after receiving President Trump's endorsement. Georgia law requires a majority for an outright win; otherwise the top two advance to a December 1 runoff. Recent primary results and the district's voting history support Gaines as the frontrunner, yet the "No" outcome at 59% implied probability reflects trader assessment that vote fragmentation—potentially from minor candidates, independents, or turnout dynamics—could prevent any single candidate from reaching 50%. This aligns with the "wisdom of crowds" pricing in historical patterns for open seats and the structural threshold for avoiding a runoff, without assuming a guaranteed majority for the leading nominee.
