In Georgia's 14th congressional district, a solidly Republican seat vacated by Marjorie Taylor Greene's January 2026 resignation, the March special election featured a crowded field that split the GOP vote and produced no majority, triggering an April runoff won by Clay Fuller. For the November 2026 general election, Fuller faces Democrat Shawn Harris in a low-turnout environment where the district's partisan lean and historical margins favor a single-round outcome. Recent primary results showing Fuller consolidating Republican support above 80 percent, combined with limited Democratic infrastructure, underpin trader consensus around a 62 percent implied probability of an outright winner. Scheduled general election procedures under Georgia law, which require over 50 percent to avoid a runoff, remain the key variable, with no major late developments altering the baseline assessment.
