Chen Yu-jen, the Kuomintang nominee and sole party registrant for the November 2026 Kinmen County magistrate race, holds the leading position in trader consensus at 85.5 percent. Kinmen’s long record as a KMT stronghold, combined with the absence of an official Democratic Progressive Party contender in recent cycles, underpins this pricing. Her prior service as the county’s Legislative Yuan representative and March 2026 party endorsement further consolidate support ahead of the vote. Lower-priced options such as Li Wen-liang at 13.0 percent and Liang Wen-tao at 3.1 percent reflect limited visibility or independent backing, while historical patterns of high KMT margins in the county continue to shape assessments of the outcome.
