Latest forecast guidance from models such as GFS places Amsterdam’s September 6 high near 21–22 °C under southerly flow, partly cloudy skies, and surface high pressure near 1025 hPa. This pattern favors modest daytime warming above the 1991–2020 climatological average of 20.2 °C without triggering the stronger advection needed for 24 °C or higher. Model consensus remains tight through the final 24–48 hours before resolution, limiting upside or downside surprises and supporting the market’s heavy weighting toward 22 °C. Light winds and minimal cloud cover are expected to keep the daily maximum within a narrow range, consistent with the low probabilities assigned to outcomes outside 21–23 °C.
