Recent forecasts from Malaysian Meteorological Department and international models indicate a minimum temperature near 24–25°C for Kuala Lumpur on September 7, aligning with typical early-September nocturnal cooling under partly cloudy, humid conditions with light winds and scattered thunderstorms. Persistent El Niño influences and regional haze have supported above-average daytime heat but limited extreme overnight drops, while model spreads in boundary-layer moisture and cloud cover introduce modest uncertainty around the precise low. Historical baselines place September minima around 23–25°C, making the market's spread across 24–26°C options reflect trader weighting of short-term forecast revisions expected from updated METMalaysia and ECMWF runs before resolution.
