Persistent high pressure and southerly winds are keeping overnight lows elevated across North Texas, with National Weather Service forecasts calling for minimum temperatures in the upper 70s to low 80s on September 7 under mostly clear skies and high humidity. These conditions, following several days of triple-digit heat, support the market-implied 49.5% probability on 71°F or below as the leading outcome, reflecting trader assessment of limited radiational cooling potential despite the date's climatological average low near 73°F. Model consensus shows little change through the Labor Day window, with any shift in wind patterns or cloud cover the key variable that could alter resolution odds before final observations.
