Official forecasts from the National Weather Service project a high of 60–62°F for Seattle today under persistent cloud cover, morning rain, and southerly flow that limits solar heating and keeps conditions below the 71°F September average. These atmospheric conditions—high humidity near 90% and widespread overcast—suppress afternoon warming and align closely with the market’s leading 60–61°F outcome at 55% implied probability. Nearby model guidance shows limited upside potential, with any breaks in clouds unlikely to push readings into the mid-60s, supporting the secondary 62–63°F and 58–59°F buckets. Updated observations through midday confirm temperatures climbing only gradually toward the low 60s.
