Recent NOAA and regional model consensus points to persistent rain and overcast skies limiting daytime heating in Seattle on September 13, with official forecasts centering the daily high at 60–62°F amid southerly winds and widespread precipitation. This setup aligns with the market's leading 60–61°F bin at 49.5% implied probability, as cloud cover and moisture reduce solar insolation compared to the seasonal average high near 71°F. Model runs show minimal warming potential through midday before any afternoon clearing, keeping outcomes above 64°F at low single-digit odds while supporting the secondary 62–63°F range. Updated NWS guidance and real-time observations will refine these probabilities as the event resolves.
