Forecast models from the National Weather Service and NOAA indicate a daily high in central NYC near 80–82°F on September 17, driven by southerly winds, increasing humidity, and mostly cloudy skies with only isolated drizzle chances. These conditions favor the market’s leading 80–81°F (43.5%) and 82–83°F (30.5%) bins, which align with the consensus range across official guidance. Recent model runs show limited variability, though afternoon cloud cover or minor steering shifts could trim the peak into the upper 70s. Historical September baselines average around 76°F, making today’s warmer setup a modest positive anomaly supported by the prevailing flow pattern.
