Official forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate mostly sunny skies and light easterly winds for Houston on September 18, 2026, favoring highs in the mid-90s under a stable high-pressure pattern with minimal cloud cover or precipitation. This aligns with recent observations of 92–97°F daily maxima amid above-average late-summer warmth and Gulf moisture. Trader consensus, reflected in the 48% implied probability for 92–93°F and 33.5% for 94–95°F, incorporates model agreement on these conditions while acknowledging minor uncertainty from potential afternoon heating variations or localized effects. Historical September averages near 89–91°F provide context for the elevated outlook.
