Quarterly capex reached $53.1 billion, contributing to a trailing twelve-month free cash flow outflow of $7.6 billion as spending outpaced operating cash generation. AWS revenue grew 37% year-over-year to a $169 billion annualized run rate, supported by a $496 billion backlog, with management indicating capacity will remain constrained through 2027 despite the elevated plan. The next quarterly update in late October could reveal run-rate trends or further revisions tied to memory prices and data-center deployment.
