Official temperature readings from National Weather Service stations in the Houston area confirmed a daily high of 94-95°F on August 29, aligning with model consensus from the prior evening. Persistent high pressure, light winds, and limited cloud cover under late-summer subtropical conditions produced efficient daytime heating without significant convective cooling, consistent with climatological norms for late August when highs often reach the low-to-mid 90s. The 100% market-implied probability reflects this verified outcome and the absence of measurement discrepancies across primary reporting sites. Only a rare post-analysis revision by NOAA or an overlooked microclimate anomaly at a secondary station could alter the result at this stage.
