Forecasts from the National Weather Service and other models indicate a high of 86–88°F for Denver on August 30 under partly sunny skies with a 30–40% chance of afternoon thunderstorms, aligning with the market's leading 86–87°F and 88–89°F buckets. Late-summer monsoon moisture is driving increased cloud cover and isolated convection that may limit peak heating, yet daytime warming from southwesterly flow and downslope effects still supports temperatures near or slightly above the 82°F climatological normal. No major model shifts have occurred in recent runs, keeping trader consensus concentrated on the upper-80s range while assigning low probability to extremes outside 84–91°F.
