Current forecast models from sources like the ECMWF and GFS indicate peak temperatures in Milan on September 7 will reach 32–33°C under clear to partly cloudy skies, light variable winds, and high pressure promoting subsidence warming in the Po Valley. This setup favors the market’s tight contest between 32°C (51% implied probability) and 31°C (42.5%), with small differences in afternoon mixing, urban heat retention, or minor cloud timing able to shift the daily maximum by 1°C. Recent observations show stable conditions with minimal precipitation risk, consistent with late-summer climatology before a cooler front arrives mid-week. Traders appear to weigh ensemble consensus heavily, recognizing that official station readings near the city center will resolve the market.
