Recent polling averages place the SPD at 6–7% and the Greens at 4–5% in the September 6, 2026 Sachsen-Anhalt Landtag election, a margin that has held steady through multiple surveys conducted in July and August. The SPD’s position as junior partner in the outgoing CDU–SPD–FDP government and its established regional organization continue to support modestly higher support levels than the Greens, whose vote share has remained near or below the five-percent threshold. With the election less than two weeks away and no major late-campaign shifts reported, trader consensus reflects these sustained vote-intention differentials between the two parties.
