Recent polling trends position Apvienotais Saraksts (AS) as the frontrunner for the most seats in Latvia's October 3 Saeima election, reflecting its strong showing in mid-2026 surveys amid a fragmented field. The May 2026 formation of a new center-right coalition government under AS leader Andris Kulbergs, following drone-related tensions and prior coalition collapse, has bolstered its standing as voters assess governing competence and policy continuity on security and EU alignment. Sovereign Power (SV) and Latvia First (LPV) trail with notable support among Euroskeptic and populist voters, while Progressives (PRO) and National Alliance (NA) register lower shares consistent with narrower bases. The 5% electoral threshold and multiparty dynamics sustain uncertainty, with trader consensus pricing AS's lead as reflecting these late-cycle indicators.
