Recent forecast models from sources like the Met Office and GFS indicate mild overnight conditions for London on September 12, with lows expected near 12–14°C amid a mix of Atlantic frontal systems and building high pressure. This aligns with early autumn climatology, where average lows hover around 11–12°C, though the record-warm 2026 summer has sustained above-normal sea surface temperatures that may moderate cooling. Trader consensus favoring 13°C and 14°C reflects limited model spread and the absence of strong northerly flows or clear skies that could drive sharper nocturnal drops. Updated runs over the next 48 hours, particularly on cloud cover and wind patterns, will likely refine these probabilities ahead of resolution.
