Forecast models from Chinese meteorological services and international sources indicate mostly sunny to clear conditions over Wuhan on September 6, supporting a daily high near 32–33 °C under light northeasterly flow and minimal cloud cover. This setup favors strong daytime solar insolation with low precipitation chances, aligning with the market’s heaviest weighting on 33 °C. Recent model runs show little change in steering patterns or moisture, keeping temperatures within a narrow range that historically peaks in the low 30s °C for early September. Traders appear to be pricing the slight upside bias from peak heating under clear skies while discounting higher outliers absent any warming advection. Updated guidance expected overnight from the Wuhan Meteorological Observatory could refine the exact maximum before resolution.
