**Trader consensus has locked in 32°C as the highest temperature recorded in Panama City on September 4, 2026, at essentially 100% implied probability.** Official meteorological observations from stations in the region, including nearby David/Enrique Malek International Airport, documented a daily maximum of 32°C amid typical late-wet-season conditions with scattered thunderstorms, high humidity near 80%, and light variable winds. This aligns with climatological norms for early September, when average highs hover around 30°C and brief convective activity can produce small upward spikes without widespread extremes. Model guidance and real-time surface data converged on this value, leaving negligible room for revision. The only realistic challenges would involve post-hoc adjustments to station records, use of an alternative measurement site with a lower peak, or rare data-quality corrections—none of which have materialized.
