Official National Weather Service forecasts for Los Angeles International Airport point to an overnight low near 76°F early on September 10, with Thursday night around 73°F, reflecting persistent warmth after recent highs near 99°F and elevated minimums in the mid-70s. Marine layer development, onshore flow, and patchy fog potential later in the period introduce variability that could allow cooling into the upper 60s if clouds increase or winds shift, while clear conditions and residual heat from the recent pattern support readings remaining in the mid-70s. Historical September averages near 64°F underscore how current atmospheric stability elevates the floor, with model consensus on limited nocturnal radiational cooling keeping lower outcomes like 66-67°F as secondary possibilities.
