Forecast models from the National Weather Service and major ensembles indicate Austin's overnight low on September 19 will likely settle in the mid-70s, driven by persistent southerly flow, clear to partly cloudy skies, and elevated dew points that limit radiational cooling. With daytime highs near 97–99°F and minimal frontal influence, surface temperatures are expected to bottom out around 74–78°F rather than the seasonal average near 67°F. This range aligns with the market's tightly clustered probabilities across the 68–77°F bins, reflecting trader consensus on model consensus while acknowledging small uncertainties from local urban heat island effects or slight wind shifts that could nudge the exact minimum by a degree or two.
