Recent National Weather Service forecasts for Atlanta indicate the September 21 low will likely fall in the low 70s°F, driven by persistent unseasonably warm conditions with overnight temperatures holding near 71–73°F amid elevated dew points around 70–72°F and light easterly winds. Scattered showers and thunderstorms expected Monday afternoon and evening may enhance cloud cover and limit radiative cooling, while model consensus shows only modest overnight drops from daytime highs in the low 90s. This keeps 70–73°F bins favored in trader positioning, though slight variations in steering patterns or precipitation timing could shift the exact minimum by a degree or two before resolution.
