Singapore's highest temperature on September 21 is expected to reach 32–34°C, with official forecasts from the Meteorological Service Singapore and regional models pointing to partly cloudy conditions and a 19–30% chance of thundery showers that could limit peak heating. Persistent El Niño conditions, now strengthening and driving above-normal temperatures across Southeast Asia during the southwest monsoon, provide the broader context, consistent with early September readings that exceeded 34°C on multiple days. Current ensemble guidance shows limited day-to-day variability, keeping the 33°C outcome as the market favorite while leaving room for modest upward or downward shifts if cloud cover or localized convection intensifies.
