Recent forecast models for Mexico City on September 20 indicate a daytime maximum near 23–24°C under partly cloudy skies with a 40–60% chance of scattered showers or thunderstorms, consistent with late rainy-season patterns at the city’s 2,240 m elevation. Afternoon convection and cloud cover typically limit peak heating, while light variable winds and moderate humidity further moderate temperatures. Historical September averages hover around 24°C, but model runs show modest upside potential to 25–26°C if breaks in cloud allow stronger insolation. Market-implied odds favor 26°C or higher, reflecting trader assessment of forecast uncertainty and the possibility that official observations could register slightly above consensus guidance ahead of the daily high-resolution update.
