Recent forecasts from Malaysian Meteorological Department and international models indicate a maximum of 34–35°C in Kuala Lumpur on September 6, driven by typical early-September inter-monsoon conditions with light southerly winds, moderate cloud cover, and isolated afternoon thunderstorms that limit extreme heating. Official guidance lists a 35°C high under hazy skies, while ensemble outputs cluster near 33–34°C depending on timing of any showers. Current conditions on September 5 reached 33°C amid similar haze, supporting trader consensus on 34°C as the mode; probabilities for 36°C or higher remain low given expected convection and humidity near 70% that caps surface warming. Updated model runs and official briefings tomorrow morning will refine these odds ahead of market resolution.
