NWS forecasts for Denver on September 6 project a high in the low 90s°F under partly to mostly sunny skies with a 20-40% chance of scattered afternoon thunderstorms, driving the tight market split between 90-91°F and 92-93°F outcomes. Recent observations show the city in a warm spell with daily maxima of 92-93°F, well above the early-September climatological average near 83°F, supported by a ridge favoring downslope warming and light winds. Model consensus indicates modest uncertainty around convective timing, as earlier cloud cover or precipitation could suppress peak readings at official stations like Denver International Airport while delayed development allows slightly higher values. Updated NWS briefings and real-time observations tomorrow will refine the final maximum before market resolution.
