Darijana Filipović leads the market at 70% as the Croatian Democratic Union (HDZ BiH) nominee for the Croat seat on Bosnia and Herzegovina’s tripartite presidency, reflecting the party’s dominant organizational networks, consistent performance in Federation of BiH elections, and strong backing among Croat voters under the current entity-based system. Slaven Kovačević holds second place at 25% as the Democratic Front candidate and advisor to the incumbent Croat presidency member, while Zdenko Lučić trails at 4.2% with support from the smaller Petorka coalition including HDZ 1990. Candidate lists were finalized in July 2026 ahead of the October 4 general election, with no major shifts reported in party positioning or voter alignments that would alter the established hierarchy among Croat contenders.
