Clear skies and persistent southerly flow overnight have limited radiative cooling across the Dallas-Fort Worth area, keeping the daily minimum temperature anchored in the upper 70s to low 80s on August 30. Official guidance from NOAA points to lows in the upper 70s amid daytime highs near 102 °F and dew points near 66 °F, which reduce the temperature drop after sunset. Minor forecast differences among models—primarily variations in boundary-layer mixing and exact wind speeds—create the tight clustering of market-implied probabilities around 78–83 °F. Historical August 30 lows average 75 °F, so the current warm bias reflects ongoing late-summer high pressure without any frontal passage expected before resolution.
