Current National Weather Service and private model consensus for Denver on September 1 projects a high in the low-to-mid 80s under partly cloudy skies with only a slight afternoon thunderstorm chance. This aligns with a stable post-frontal pattern after recent variable conditions, including highs near 85–93 °F in late August. The implied probabilities heavily favor 82–87 °F buckets because ensemble guidance shows limited afternoon mixing or downslope warming potential to push readings above 87 °F, while the seasonal September average high near 85 °F provides climatological context. Updated model runs over the next 24–48 hours will be the key catalyst for any shifts in trader positioning.
